1500 Balancing & Volume Control Damper

The 1500 Balancing & Volume Control Damper has been designed primarily to balance airflow in a fire or smoke rated ductwork system.

The 1500 Series is based on our industry-proven 1000 series of dampers – the frame and blade construction are identical as is the linkage mechanism. 1500 has a unique frame which is deeper and the corners are fully welded – there are also enclosures which encase the linkage and bearings, which permits a fire rated coating to be applied without it affecting the operation of the damper. If installed in a fire-rated ductwork system which does not require coverage with such products, then the damper can be left unprotected.

The corners allow connection to most flanging systems and the damper is available semi-sealed and fully sealed. It can also be supplied with manual or motorised options.
